SPHS is located in Buras overlooking both the Mississippi River and Louisiana marsh. The school has grades seventh through twelfth, three classroom levels, two Gyms and a stadium style auditorium. The exterior skin consists of Face Brick, Prairie Stone, and Stone-Lite Indiana Limestone panels capable of withstanding hurricane force winds. 

Materials Used:    

•     Face Brick - 650,000+ units supplied thru Brick & Block Co.
•     Prairie Stone - 1200 pieces 
•     CMU - 160,000 units provide by Capitol Concrete Products
•     Ground Faced Units - 61,000 units provided by Div 2/4
•     Glazed CMU - 35,000 units provided by Superlite
•     Limestone Panels - 39,000 SF furnished & installed by Intrepid Inc.
